아두캠 스테레오 싱크 쿼드 키트 -12MP 4 x IMX708
(Arducam Camera Module 3 Stereo Synchronized
12MP*4 IMX708 Quad-Camera Kit)
- Designed for Camera Module 3: Mainly designed for Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3. Both video and photograph are available, and the clock is synchronized(accurate to the millisecond level).
- Complete Synchronization: The frames of four cameras are synchronized at the hardware level, extra synchronization scheme by time stamping or so does not need to be considered.
- Four in One: Combine four cameras into one frame, each with a max resolution of 1/4(1152(H)x648(V)); the maximum output you can get: 4608 x 2592 for still images and 1920x1080 for video. Please note the frame rate for video and still images will drop to half the frame rate you would normally get with a single camera
- Multiple Channel Conversion Modes: By default, the kit works in a quad-channel mode where all cameras are configured to capture stills/videos at the exact same time. It also supports switching the channel(Single/Dual/Quad).
- Exactly Match V3 Function: We made a modification based on the Raspberry Pi Camera module3, so that the four cameras can share the I2C signal and clock. At the same time, these cameras still retain their original functions such as PDAF and HDR and so on.
- Variable Baseline Extension: Arducam Camarray HAT adopt Variable Baseline Extension solution to achieve the stereo synchronized vision of multi-camera.

- This Arducam quadrascopic camera bundle incorporates four 12MP IMX708 autofocus cameras, and the cutting-edge MIPI stereo camera breakthrough from Arducam – The Arducam Camarray HAT.
With the new launch of Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3, we have adapted various camera solutions for it. Arducam Camarray Kit is one of them. Arducam Camarray further pushes the multi-camera limits and doubles the interfacing capabilities to allow 4 synchronized MIPI camera modules to be interfaced to a single MIPI CSI-2.
The separated cameras can be used with a variable baseline device and controlled through the computer control system to achieve rapid and dynamic interactive adjustment of the moving parts for human-like multi-degree-of-freedom stereo binocular vision. This kit is expanded based on IMX708, and its function is exactly the same as the official Camera Module 3 (such as pdaf focus, and HDR, etc.).Notes
- The four-channel camera adopts the 2×2 synthesis method. The images of cameras 0 and 1 are completely synchronized, the images of cameras 2 and 3 are completely synchronized, and the images of cameras 2/3 are one frame behind the images of cameras 0/1.
- The resolution of the synthesized image remains unchanged, but the frame rate is halved. This Kit Combines four cameras into one frame, each camera with a max resolution of 1/4(1152(H)x648(V)).
- If any camera fails, the composite image can still be output, with the corresponding area of the failed camera being black.
- The four-channel camera is a customized model, requiring HAT to provide a clock. It cannot be removed and is directly connected to the Raspberry Pi.
- The driver of the kit is mainly developed based on the Raspberry Pi official board, and there is no guarantee that the third-party board can be used (Due to the different allocation of hardware resources, it may not be compatible)
- This camera kit adopts a special autofocus control method, where the autofocus of all cameras is controlled by the camera located at the RX0 interface position (which is labeled with RX0 on the MIPI-CSI interface of the Arducam CamArray HAT). By moving the camera(at the RX0 position), autofocus can be achieved for a single camera, and autofocus will also be simultaneously performed for the remaining cameras.
- This camera kit supports the latest Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye (Jan 28th, 2022 and later) and libcamera apps, for the previous Raspberry Pi OS (Legacy) users, contact sales@arducam.com for support.
